Location: Various locations around Nepal.
Duration: Minimum 2 weeks commitment
Cost: 320 Euros per week. Includes all food, accommodation, 24 hour support, domestic travel and programme activities.
Travel: You will be met at Kathmandu International Airport by a project representative and taken to the HQ to begin your adventure.

Introduction
During these two weeks you will be busy doing Meditation, Yoga and sightseeing to Spiritual Places in the town of Kathmandu. There also be sessions on Buddhism, Hinduism and the religion. You will also have the opportunity to visit some of the famous temples of Kathmandu.
The second week you will be trekking through the Jungles and mountains of Nepal in the Chitwan National Park.
Itinerary
Culture week
Our culture week is a mix of travel, learning and lifestyle. It will be a great way to commence your second week in Nepal and be a fantastic opportunity to get a first hand intro into Nepali culture. During this week you will participate in basic Meditation lessons and visit several places of interest in and around Kathmandu. You will get a front row seat to Nepali Culture and society!
Trekking Week
While trekking, you will be able to observe the traditional lifestyle of Nepalese families and enjoy fascinating views of beautiful landscapes, and Nepal's flora and fauna.
There will be 3-4 days of village trek, with 2 days of Jungle Safari in the Royal Chitwan National Park. The trek itself is not too difficult, and is suitable for all.
Chitwan National Park is a large area of low, heavily forested hills that border India to the south. The park is a haven for wildlife: the Royal Bengal Tiger, the lumbering yet agile one-horned rhinoceros, leopards, various deer and bear species, wild boars, and over 40 other mammal species. There are also gharial crocodiles in the rivers and over 400 bird species that make the park their home. Elephant rides, a canoe trip and nature walks are available to allow participants to enjoy the wilderness and learn about the wildlife.

Accommodation
You will be staying together in our center in Kathmandu for the 1st week.
During the 2nd week, You will be staying in various local guesthouses.
The food is generally traditional Nepali and is a variety of dishes made of rice with sauces and vegetables.
All participants are expected to be environmentally responsible and to use all resources with restraint, especially water, paper and electricity. You will be expected to clean up after yourself, and to play your part to keep the accommodation neat and tidy. Our Program Coordinators will take care of all activities and sessions for the entire orientation week.
Additional Information on the location
The Chitwan National Park (RCNP), covering an area of 932 km², is the oldest national park of Nepal. Established in 1973, it was granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. The RCNP is located at the foot of the Himalayas in the Terai region, and the park is rich in flora and fauna, which include one of the last populations of single-horned Indian Rhinoceros (Rhinoceros unicornis) and the Bengal tiger. The area used to be known as the Chitwan Valley. It was a place for big game hunting and until 1951 it was a hunting reserve. At the park there is canoeing, elephant rides, and guided jungle walks.
The Chitwan National Park is home to at least 43 species of mammals, 450 species of birds, and 45 species of amphibians and reptiles. Elephants and indian rhinos are the largest species found in the park, but a lot of other large herbivores are found in the park, gaur, sambar deer, Indian muntjac, chital, hog deer, mainland serow, chousingha and wild boar. Three large predator species, tigers, leopards, dholes prey on them and carrion eaters like striped hyenas are also found. Sloth bears are among the main attractions of the Park. Smaller carivore species are golden jackal, yellow-throated marten, ratel, smooth coated otter, small indian civet, large indian civet, spotted linsang, common palm civet, binturong, small indian mongoose, indian grey mongoose, crab-eating mongose, leopard cat, marbled cat and fishing cat. Further mammal species found in the park are rhesus monkeys, hanuman langurs, Indian pangolin, northern palm sqirrel, red giant flying sqirrel, particoloured flying squirrel, indian porcupine, hispid hare, Indian hare and ganges dolphin.
