If you have already paid the deposit, but decide that a different project suits you better, then we will offer you the flexibility to switch your deposit to any other project that we offer.
If you are having issues with your project, you can first go through our Resolution Support process. If we are unable to resolve your problem, then you can use our Flexible Deposit option, to switch to any other project.
This is how it works
1. Before starting the project
Once you have selected your project, and paid the deposit, you will begin the pre-departure process of preparing for your placement. Once you have paid the deposit, the balance is due 4 weeks prior to your departure. Before you pay the balance fee, you will still be able to switch to any other project, and you won’t lose any money.
2. After you have arrived at the project
Once you have arrived at the project, it can be more complicated to switch to a different project. Often times, the organisation will have many different projects going on, and you can easily switch to one of their other projects, without losing any fee, however this will be at the discretion of the project coordinator.
In any case, we will be in hand to help you find the best solution and ensure you have a great experience.
Payments made directly to the project organisation, and other 3rd party costs are not covered by this option. We recommend you get adequate travel insurance.
