This is a wonderful opportunity to keep active and fit and to use your creative and construction skills. You may also participate in a landscaping project in addition to construction, join in painting schools and renovating classrooms. The construction project provides tangible assistance to the local community and allows thousands of families who life in inadequate accommodations to move to better quality homes. Children who attend school in crumbling buildings can receive education in secure, new classrooms. Your efforts will contribute to the growth and development of the local community.

This project aims at relieving the communities from some of the stress and pressure under which they live, making a difference to the local community by providing better living conditions. The project involves hard physical and manual labor including laying bricks, painting, laying tiles, doing carpentry and landscaping/gardening. In Suva, the project has a more artistic, fun and creative side where participants renovate or create drawings, paint in several kindergartens and primary schools.

The following days, prepare for an start early as you go to the project site each morning, where you will start your assigned tasks for the day. During the whole project you will be supported by a project coordinator. After lunch, you will work at the community location focusing on construction and renovation.
