Introduction

Aloha! Pack your bags, bring your swim gear, and join an exotic animal sanctuary in Hawaii!
This project offers the perfect blend of relaxation and meaningful volunteer work. If you’re having trouble deciding between a leisurely beach holiday and a rewarding wildlife experience, this is your ideal opportunity. Enjoy the beauty of Hawaii while making a difference by helping care for exotic animals!

Can’t decide if you want to volunteer with wildlife?
This project is your chance to work closely with a variety of exotic and native Hawaiian species at the Exotic Animal Sanctuary. Whether you’re interested in providing hands-on care, assisting with feeding, cleaning, or habitat maintenance, the work is physically demanding but immensely fulfilling. You’ll contribute to the well-being of these incredible animals, ensuring their safety and comfort while gaining valuable experience in wildlife conservation.

How about helping care for these amazing animals in an island paradise?
Located on the beautiful Big Island, the sanctuary provides a unique opportunity to volunteer in one of the world’s most stunning natural environments. Whether you’re feeding birds, cleaning enclosures, or helping with animal enrichment, your days will be filled with hands-on tasks that directly support the care of exotic and endangered animals.

This volunteer project is rewarding but physically demanding.
Please note that volunteering at the sanctuary is not an “easy holiday option” — it requires hard work, dedication, and a passion for wildlife care. However, the experience is incredibly rewarding as you’ll be helping to provide safe, enriching environments for animals that require special care. You’ll have plenty of time off to explore the beauty of the Big Island, with two days a week free to visit its beaches, volcanoes, and lush landscapes.

If you’re ready for an unforgettable adventure combining wildlife conservation and island paradise living, this is the perfect project for you!
