Being the second-largest country in South America and in fact, one of the largest countries in the world, Argentina offers a multitude of experiences to the intrepid visitor and a never-ending stream of tourists descend on the country each year to experience the magic cocktail of tango, futbol, gauchos, stunning landscapes, colonial heritage cities, sizzling steaks and the famous Argentine passion for life. A Latin American power-house, it never fails to impress. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the capital Buenos Aires, affectionately described as the ‘Paris of the South’ where Porteños (as the inhabitants are called) will welcome you in their very own, unique way. A little on the gritty side, but once you get under their skin, so will the city get under yours.
This internship offers you the chance to experience living and working in this intriguing metropolis and truly get to know Argentina from within, while sharing your talent and skills with local businesses and at the same time, developing and enhancing those skills to prepare you for a professional journalism career. You will be placed with the team of an online travel and multimedia website aimed at expats and travellers residing in Argentina.
