Volunteers help feed, clean, and groom animals, assist with shelter maintenance, and contribute to communication campaigns. No prior experience is necessary, but a love for animals is essential.
This Animal Care program in Rome encompasses various essential objectives. You will be providing care, companionship, and outdoor activities for our furry friends, such as dogs and cats, volunteers assist local nonprofit staff in maintaining and cleaning shelters. Additionally, volunteers aid in communication campaigns to support shelters and raise awareness about topics like adopting older animals. Another vital aspect involves caring for animals with specific health conditions, such as FeLV in cats, learning to administer treatment to improve their well-being.
