Introduction

If you have a deep affection for dogs, cats, and furry animals of all kinds, we invite you to join us in Korea and participate in our Animal Care Program. This program focuses on rescuing and providing care for animals that are not receiving fair treatment or are in danger due to various circumstances.

We collaborate with local animal shelters throughout Korea to extend a helping hand to stray animals, including cats and dogs. Your involvement will include tasks such as cleaning, feeding, and ensuring the overall well-being of these animals. By offering your care and attention, you will make a significant difference in their lives.

Moreover, our local group is dedicated to rescuing animals in need of assistance during natural disasters, as well as those that have suffered from violence and abuse. We also work towards improving the conditions for dogs that are kept in “dog farming” facilities, where they are often mistreated and eventually used as food ingredients.

By participating in the Animal Care Program, you will actively contribute to providing a better life for these vulnerable animals, promoting their welfare, and raising awareness about their plight. Your compassion and dedication will make a lasting impact on the lives of these creatures in need.

Come and join us in Korea, where your love for animals will be put into action, and together we can create a brighter future for them.

Daily Life

During your participation in the Animal Care Program in Korea, your basecamp or guesthouse will be conveniently located in the heart of Seoul. This vibrant city is known for its thriving arts scene and bustling marketplace, offering a lively and exciting atmosphere. Despite the program’s shelters being scattered throughout the city, your accommodation will be just a few hours away from the airport, ensuring easy access.

The local team that you will be working with is a non-profit organization called “care.” They have been actively involved in animal welfare since their establishment in 2002, focusing on rescuing animals from various forms of abuse and abandonment. Additionally, they organize campaigns that encourage foreigners to adopt stray animals and assist in facilitating the journey of these adopted animals to their new homes.

Throughout your one-week stay, you will lend a helping hand to the local team at animal shelters in Seoul. Your tasks will involve ensuring the well-being and care of the stranded animals in their care. By working alongside the dedicated team from “care,” you will contribute to their ongoing efforts to provide a safe and nurturing environment for these animals.

Furthermore, the organization actively promotes adoption of stray animals, giving them a chance to find loving homes, either locally or abroad. Your involvement in the program will not only assist in the day-to-day care of the animals but also support their mission to create awareness and facilitate the adoption process for these deserving creatures.

Join “care” in their noble mission to rescue and protect animals in Korea. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these animals and help create a better future for them.
